Yemen’s Houthis have issued a stern warning that they will not hesitate to target any waterway that facilitates access for Israel. Hazem Al-Asad, a member of the group’s political bureau, expressed this sentiment in a statement to Al-Resalah Net.
“Those who disregard Arab solidarity while blood is spilt in Gaza and Lebanon cannot expect us to respect their Arab or Islamic ties.” Al-Asad declared. He emphasized that history is being written in the current conflict, stating that those who choose betrayal will face consequences.
Al-Asad urged Arab nations to reassess their positions, highlighting that many have aligned themselves with Israel, thus placing themselves under the control of an occupier with expansionist ambitions toward all Arab states. “We as peoples and resistance have decided to side with our history, present, future and our Arab identity,” he concluded.
