The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has allegedly killed a Muslim family of four including a pregnant woman in Anambra state.
Reports indicate that the incident happened on Monday morning, May 23, 2022 along Isulo, Orumba South LGA , Anambra, South East Nigeria.
In a viral video, the victims were lying in the pool of their own blood with bullets scattered around giving the evidence of the killing.
Eyewitnesses indicate that the oldest among the Muslim family is pregnant and the others are her four children, none of which is up to fifteen years old.
Other similar incidents indicate similar murders at Abatete in Idemili North Local Government Area, while another man was killed at Nanka Orumba North Local Government Area, all in Anambra State.
Although the report is still sketchy, it was gathered that IPOB had murdered them because they were Muslims and also from northern Nigerian extraction.
There’s heightened tension in Anambra State following the incessant killings of persons on daily basis by gunmen.
