Nigeria’s ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, is holding its presidential primaries at Abuja’s Eagles Square.
Meanwhile, reports say delegates and ad hoc officials of the All Progressives Congress clashed at the venue of the party’s national convention where the primaries would be holding.
Accreditation, on the other hand, has begun following the resolution of the misunderstanding.
It has been learned that delegates will be given accreditation tags before proceeding to Eagle Square, the primary venue.
The clash was caused by unregistered delegates, according to Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma.
” What makes you a delegate is the collection of tags. Those that caused the confusion claimed that they are delegates but APC state chairman and INEC officials have confirmed those that will be the delegates. They have the authentic list with them.
“We are not out of time, we are working according to the timetable,” he said.
