Thousands of Zulu men (known as amabutho) participated in a re-enactment of the battle of Isandlwana.
This year marks the 144th anniversary of the battle which was the first engagement in the Anglo-Zulu war on January 22,1879.
It was the greatest triumph in the military history of the Zululand.
