Marko Arnautovic’s stunning volley helped Inter Milan secure a 2-0 victory over Lazio in the Italian Cup quarterfinals on Tuesday, sending them through to a semi-final clash with city rivals AC Milan in April.
The veteran striker broke the deadlock with a thunderous volley from a half-cleared corner in the 39th minute, while Hakan Calhanoglu sealed the win with a 77th-minute penalty, sending Lazio goalkeeper Christos Mandas the wrong way.

The win comes as Simone Inzaghi’s side, who also sit atop Serie A, prepare for a crucial match against second-placed Napoli on Saturday. Meanwhile, defending champions Juventus will face Empoli on Wednesday to determine their semi-final opponents, Bologna, who triumphed 1-0 over Atalanta last week.
