After the United States brokered ties between Morocco and Israel, officials have boarded a first commercial flight from Tel Aviv, the Israeli capital.
The officials were led by the Adviser to the President of the United States, Jared Kushner as they visit the Kingdom to seal ties in their normalisation agreement.
Recall that the United States brought Israel and Morocco under a canopy, to the chagrin of Palestine who claims that the Israeli government is illegally occupying its land.
Like Morocco, the American government also removed Sudan’s name from the list of terror countries, as new ties are expected to be established.
Kushner said the US is looking to seal some agreements at the Moroccan capital, Rabat, with one of those agreements expected to be the issue of Western Sahara.

The Al-Sahrawi Republic is currently led by the Algeria-controlled Polisario Front Movement but has pressured the United Nations to hold a referendum that will take it closer to gaining independence.
The United States in 1991 brokered an agreement between Western Sahara and Morocco but the former has since cancelled the truce and has called to have its own republic.
