Nigerian banks are expected to experience additional service disruptions In the upcoming weeks and months as they undergo system upgrades to boost operational efficiency and improve customer experience.

Some banks have already transitioned, resulting in customers facing challenges in conducting transactions or accessing their funds.

Industry insiders indicate that more banks are either migrating or preparing to commence their core banking migration as they compete to enhance their technological infrastructure.

Although some reports say the upgrades and migration comply with the regulator’s directive, other sources say the banks are just looking to improve their services.

While GTBank and Sterling Bank have successfully executed the process with a few hitches, Zenith Bank customers have been experiencing a harrowing experience as they attempt to access their funds and consummate transactions.
