Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria Suspends Strike

The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has suspended its Industrial Action after over two months.

The union embarked on a strike on April 6, shutting down all courts nationwide, to demand financial autonomy for the judiciary in states.

The union announced this in a communiqué issued at the end of its emergency National Executive Council meeting held in Abuja and signed by the Deputy President, Emmanuel Abioye; and the General Secretary, Isaiah Adetola.

Judiciary workers are expected to resume work on Monday.
