Bandits have attacked Tsiga town in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State, Northwest Nigeria, abducting 11 people.
The assailants targeted and ransacked the homes of prominent families in the community. Among the victims are six members of Alhaji Sa’idu Wangarawa’s family, three from Alhaji Lawal Sa’idu (Dan Majen Tsiga), and two from Zayyanu Sa’idu, a relative of Dan Majen Tsiga.
Security operatives have launched a search and rescue operation to apprehend the culprits and bring back the kidnapped victims.
