    Abuja to Experience 16-Day Power Outage, Says Company

    Nigeria has experienced a nationwide blackout following the collapse of the national power grid. This marks the first major grid failure in 2025, occurring barely ten days into the new year.

    This incident is the 13th grid collapse in the past 13 months.

    Power generation plummeted from 2,111.01 megawatts at 2:00 pm to 390.20 megawatts by 3:00 pm.
