Canadian pop star Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber, have welcomed their first child.
Announcing the arrival of their son on Instagram on Friday, the post, which has already garnered over 11 million likes, showed the baby’s foot wrapped in a blanket with the caption; “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.”
Recall that in May, the celebrity couple announced that they were expecting by posting pictures showing fashionista and businesswoman Hailey, 27, cradling her belly.
Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette, also congratulated the couple on X, saying, “I LOVE YOU FOREVER, BABY JACK.”
Hailey’s father and actor Stephen Baldwin reshared Mallette’s post adding, “Amen, Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.”
Justin Bieber, 30, became a pop sensation in 2009. Since then, he has released numerous hits, including the mega-selling “Baby,” featuring rapper Ludacris, and “Somebody to Love.”
His wife, Hailey Bieber, has modelled for major brands such as Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. She now runs her own brand, Rhode, which offers skincare and makeup products.
In October, the model shared with US outlet GQ her excitement about becoming a mother. She found it amusing how much others cared and described motherhood as “a private, intimate thing.”
“It’s something that’s going to come when it comes. And it’s just, honestly, at the end of the day, so hilarious how much people care. Let me do what I want to do with my body and you guys can do what you want to do with your body,” she was quoted as saying.
