Juventus secured their spot in the Coppa Italia final with a thrilling 3-2 aggregate victory over Lazio.
Arkadiusz Milik swiftly made an impact, scoring within moments of stepping onto the pitch as a substitute in the 83rd minute, securing Juventus’ advancement at the Stadio Olimpico.
Lazio’s Valentin Castellanos opened the scoring in Rome just 12 minutes into the match with a header, then added his second of the tie shortly after halftime. Despite a 2-1 loss in the second leg, Massimiliano Allegri’s team progressed.
Having lost the first leg 2-0 in Turin, Lazio found hope of overturning the semi-final when Castellanos scored from a corner. The striker then leveled the aggregate score by netting another goal early in the second half.
As the match approached extra time, Milik, the Polish international, capitalized on an empty net to seal Juventus‘ place in the final, where they will face the winner between Fiorentina and Atalanta.
