Jeannine Munyeshuli has been sacked from her position as Minister of State for Public Investment and Resource Mobilisation in Rwanda’s Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN).
The announcement is contained in a communique released from the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday, June 3. Munyeshuli was appointed minister in August 2023, she held various portfolios in the private sector.
She was a Quantitative Analyst and Investment Manager at Unigestion in Switzerland. At one time, she worked as the Chief Operating Officer at SouthBridge Group, a financial services institution. Munyeshuli also worked as a Quantitative Strategist at Pictet Group in Geneva, Switzerland.
