Kalvin Philips will join the East London side West Ham on a loan deal. The deal got a green light from Manchester City, Philips, and the West Ham’s technical director, Tim Steidten.
The deal will also include a buy clause option in June. Philips is considered a sensible and potentially excellent addition to David Moyes squad. West Ham will pay the full salary of Kalvin Phillips until June.
The midfielder will be in London on January 24, 2024, to undergo medical tests as a new West Ham player. The contracts linked with Philips’ move left to sign will be signed on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
The Hammers are also in talks with Denmark football club, FC Nordsjælland, reaching an agreement for 19-year-old Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman.
Negotiations are advancing fast for a fee of €16m.
