Renowned Nollywood veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has proudly welcomed his son, Clinton Onyeze Mbaise, into the entertainment industry.
Clinton made his Nollywood debut while working on the set of an upcoming film, where he was introduced to the cast and crew. He has been assigned the roles of Personal Assistant and Assistant Production Manager.
During the introduction, Kanayo O. Kanayo emphasised the importance of equality, stating his expectation for his son to be treated as an equal member of the team, without any preferential treatment. He also assured that Clinton would receive appropriate compensation for his work.
Clinton, a recent graduate of Babcock University, has embarked on this Nollywood journey as part of an internship programme aimed at acquiring knowledge in management and the art of filmmaking.
Kanayo O. Kanayo urged his peers and followers to extend similar opportunities to their children, thereby fostering respect and understanding within the realm of cinema.
He said: “We resumed filming today. My son, Clinton, Onyeze Mbaise, joins us as Assistant Production Manager & my Personal Assistant. He is an intern to understudy Film making and Management before proceeding to further studies. We should let our children work in our organisations or other establishments to appreciate the industry.
