Tragedy struck in Ogun State as four well-known gospel ministers lost their lives in a fatal auto crash along the Ikorodu–Sagamu Road. The deceased clerics were identified as Evangelist Ayodeji David, popularly known as Kekere Jesu, Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Opeyemi Adesina, and Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed the incident in a statement issued by the Public Information Officer of the Ogun State Command, Florence Okupe. According to the FRSC, the victims were travelling for a ministry assignment when their vehicle was involved in a ghastly accident.

Reports indicated that their vehicle collided with another during a high-impact crash, killing all four occupants on the spot. Preliminary investigations revealed that excessive speeding and poor visibility were major factors that contributed to the accident.
Further accounts from The Nation newspaper revealed that the accident involved multiple vehicles and may have claimed over 24 lives in total.
Following the incident, burial arrangements were made for the deceased ministers. Kekere Jesu and his senior brother’s wife have already been laid to rest. The body of his personal assistant was taken to Ado-Ekiti for burial, while his late fiancée’s remains were handed over to her family for final rites.
