Kellyrae Wins Big Brother Naija Season 9 'No Loose Guard'

Nigerian singer, Kingsley Oritsetimeyin Sule, better known as Kellyrae emerged victorious on Sunday night as the winner of the 2024 Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality TV show, in the “No Loose Guard” edition.

The announcement was made by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during the grand finale held in Lagos.

Kellyrae hails from Delta State and competed alongside his wife Kassia under the duo name “Double Kay.”

He was among the eight finalists, including Anita, Nelly, Onyeka, Ozee, Sooj, Victoria, and Wanni, who all battled for the coveted prize.

The 33-year-old singer emerged as the final contestant standing, alongside Wanni, before being crowned the overall winner of the season.

Kellyrae’s victory secured him a grand prize worth N100 million, which includes a cash reward of N60 million, an SUV, and additional sponsored gifts.

During the finale, contestants were eliminated one by one, starting with Sooj, followed by Anita, Ozee, Nelly, and Victoria. This left Kellyrae, Wanni, and Onyeka as the final three. Onyeka was then eliminated, followed by Wanni, leaving Kellyrae as the ultimate champion.

The star-studded finale featured musical performances from popular artists Joeboy and Qing Madi, adding to the excitement of the evening.

The “No Loose Guard” edition of Big Brother Naija premiered on July 24, 2024, featuring fierce competition between 28 contestants, each striving for the top spot in the show.
