Police authorities in Kenya have announced that the suspected mastermind of a sexual molestation incident on a female motorist Zachariah Nyaora Obadia is on the run.
It was said that Zachariah Nyaora Obadia escaped from arrest through a sewer duct at a settlement in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital.
The investigators said digital forensics experts had identified the suspect in the video and further investigations placed him at the scene.
“The suspect has also been positively identified by his wife and other relatives in his rural home, sexually assaulting the victim in the widely shared videotape,” the police investigators tweeted.
Following the assault, President Uhuru Kenyatta ordered that all motorbike taxi drivers be re-registered.
Hundreds of people were arrested in a crackdown on non-compliance, including dozens of operators who were suspected to be involved.
