President the Republic of Kenya, William Ruto arrived in Asmara, the capital of Eritrea in the evening hours of December 9 for a two-day official visit on the invitation of President Isaias Afwerki.
Upon arrival at Asmara International Airport, President Ruto and his delegation comprising Aden Bare Duale, Cabinet Secretary, and Joseph Koli Nanok, Deputy Chief of Staff as well as senior Government officials and members of Parliament were accorded a warm reception by President Afwerki.
Senior Eritrean ministers and officials as well as Beyene Russom, Eritrean Ambassador to Kenya received them.
President Isaias Afwerki and President William Ruto will discuss bilateral relations as well as regional developments.
