Olugbenga Owolabi, the owner of Tana Suites Ogbomoso, and Racheal Opadele, a student at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, two of his employees who were kidnapped last week, have been killed by their kidnappers.

According to reports, the Motorcyclist who took a relative of the victims to the location where the ransom was to be paid was also killed, but his passenger suffered injuries.

The two were taken last week in the Abaa town of Ogbomoso, and their captors demanded a N100m ransom.

According to a family source, after some haggling, the family came up with N5m, which was delivered to the shooters on Tuesday, who confirmed the money and shot the victims.

News Central gathered that the family member who delivered the money to them was shot as well but managed to flee.

It was discovered that the victim of the gunshot wound is being treated at an unnamed hospital while the cops have left the body at a mortuary.

This has prompted students of the University and some town youths to stage a protest in Ogbomoso.

Sources told News Central that the ever busy Ogbomoso-Ilorin road had been taken over by the angry protesters.
