US reality television star Kim Kardashian is set to give in-person testimony at a French trial regarding the 2016 armed robbery where millions of dollars worth of her jewellery were stolen.
Her US lawyer confirmed her appearance, scheduled for May 13, during the trial running from April 28 to May 23.
Six individuals are on trial for the October 2016 heist, where masked men raided Kardashian’s Paris apartment during fashion week.
The robbery, considered one of France’s largest individual heists in two decades, involved the theft of around six million euros worth of jewellery, including a diamond ring from her then-husband, Kanye West.

Aomar Ait Khedache, known as “Old Omar,” is believed to be the gang’s leader.
The suspects, arrested months after the incident, face charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, and criminal gang membership.
During the robbery, which occurred in the early hours of October 3, 2016, several men, some posing as police officers, entered the luxury residence where Kardashian was staying. They held her at gunpoint, tied her up, and gagged her before stealing the jewellery.
The stolen items included the diamond ring and other gold and diamond pieces. While some items were lost during the getaway, including a diamond-encrusted cross, the majority of the stolen jewelry has never been recovered and is believed to have been sold in Belgium.
