King Charles Battles ‘New’ Cancer, Funeral Plans Initiated

Britain’s reigning monarch, King Charles III, faces a challenging situation as new reports show that he battles pancreatic cancer. This condition necessitated the initiation of his funeral plans after only 18 months on the throne.

Dubbed “Operation Menai Bridge,” the arrangements for his funeral procession will take after those of Queen Elizabeth II’s, known as “Operation London Bridge.” With the progression of his illness, insiders from the royal circle reveal that Charles’ final resting plans are receiving timely attention.

According to a source familiar with royal protocols, arranging funeral plans in advance is a customary practice within the British monarchy. However, in Charles’ situation, there’s a sense of urgency due to his health condition.

The source adds that there are palace officials who speculate that the severity of Charles’ cancer might be worse than what has been publicly acknowledged.

“Operation Menai Bridge” will adhere to well-established protocols. Upon the monarch’s passing, Charles’ body will transition from the throne room at Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall, where he will lie in state. His official funeral is scheduled to occur nine days thereafter. “It is anticipated that he will be buried in the royal vault at Windsor Castle, thus, it will have all the pomp and royalty displays befitting a British monarch,” the source added.

This update follows another revelation from a high-ranking royal insider, that Charles is not only facing pancreatic cancer—a detail previously undisclosed—but also has a prognosis of only two years to live.

“King Charles is a lot sicker than the palace says and just can’t handle running his difficult family, the crown’s business and all the daily duties of being king,” said a member of the royal inner circle in early March. “His cancer is really hurting him. He’s very weak. It’s a very serious situation.”

Additionally, the sources added that there may be issues between Charles and William that goes beyond mere family health challenges. The king reportedly believes William isn’t prepared to assume the throne.

“Charles understands the challenges of being the monarch, and he’s uncertain if William is prepared to step into his role,” disclosed a third insider, noting William’s current public relations challenges. “It feels too soon, and there could be consequences.”

With this revelation, the monarchy’s stability appears uncertain, and even Queen Camilla is reportedly frustrated by Charles’ worsening health position.”

Behind closed doors, Camilla is upset by King Charles’s seeming weakness and isn’t giving him much comfort as he battles his fatal cancer,” a palace insider shared with the media in early March, mentioning her break from royal duties starting March 4. “Her decision to go on vacation was seen as disrespectful to stepson William, who is seen as not capable of handling all the monarchy’s duties alone.”
