Julius Abure, National Chairman of the Labour Party, expressed regret that many Nigerian households cannot afford to celebrate Christmas due to the country’s economic challenges.
In a Christmas message issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, Abure urged Nigerians to embrace the season with love, service, and forgiveness.
He highlighted the importance of showing compassion to those living below the poverty line.
Abure also acknowledged the sacrifices of military personnel who are away from their families, ensuring the nation’s security. He encouraged prayers for these patriots.
