Gboyega Isiaka, the lawmaker for Yewa North/Imeko-Afon, has voiced deep concern over the reported invasion of Araromi Ibese by herdsmen, which destroyed crops and livelihoods of women farmers.
In a Sunday statement by his aide, Femi Peters, Isiaka, known as GNI, expressed distress at the impact on the community, particularly highlighting a pregnant woman forced to give birth in the bush due to fear of the attackers.
Commending initial efforts by security agencies and local leaders, Isiaka urged stronger action to protect the farming community. He pledged to monitor the situation and push for government intervention to ensure relief and prevent future attacks.
“The safety and well-being of our constituents remain paramount,” Isiaka said.
