Lewis Hamilton will depart from Mercedes at the end of the 2024 season for Ferrari. The British athlete is regarded by many as a Formula One legend.
Hamilton, a seven-time Formula One champion joined Mercedes in 2013 and has had a successful career in motorsport.
The car racer has the most wins in Formula 1 history, with 103 wins. He won the title for six consecutive years from 2014-2020 and lost the 2021 championship to Red Bull’s Max Verstappen on the final lap of the last race.
The 39-year-old has been on 197 podiums since he began his career at 8-years-old and has won a record of 31 out of 39 different Grands Prix in which he has competed.
His arrival at Ferrari in the coming season means he will replace Carlos Sainz.
