The Libyan health ministry disclosed in a statement that the agreement was signed by Libyan Health Minister Ali Zanati, who was visiting Turkey at the time, with his Turkish counterpart Fahrettin Koca.
The statement noted that the MoU includes cooperation on hospital management, short-term training of medical staff, development of medical services, and combating the COVID-19 pandemic,
“This memorandum of understanding comes within the framework of the keenness of both sides to deepen their cooperation and partnership, as well as enhancing the friendly relations between the two countries,” the statement added.
