The US Embassy in Libya reported the participation of a Libyan military team from across the country in the African Land Forces Summit (ALFS), which took place last week in Zambia.
According to the embassy, the US Army Chief of Staff supported the event, which brought together 750 representatives from Africa and other partner countries.
The embassy affirmed Washington’s support for Libyan efforts to unify military institutions, improve their effectiveness, and create long-lasting peace and stability.
The summit was hosted by the Southern European Task Force of the US Army in Africa and the Zambian Army.
