Liverpool Boss Indicates Potential Return of Salah for Brentford Showdown

Egyptian sensation and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah could make a comeback for the upcoming clash against Brentford in the Premier League this Saturday, revealed manager Jurgen Klopp during Friday’s press conference.

Salah, aged 31, currently ranks as the league’s second-highest goal scorer this season with a remarkable tally of 14 goals. He suffered a hamstring setback during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament held in January.

“Mo (Salah) is back in full training, so that brings him back into contention,” Klopp informed the media in anticipation of his team’s visit to west London.

“Ibou (Ibrahima Konate) is not suspended anymore, Joey (Joe Gomez) is fit again, Conor (Bradley) is back, Ali (Alisson Becker) is back, so that’s all positive. Thiago (Alcantara), no. And Trent not (available).” added Klopp.

Speaking about their upcoming opponents, Brentford, Klopp expressed admiration and offered his insights.

“It is super tricky there. They are well organised, set-pieces, cheeky, rhythm breaks and they are good at set-pieces which they want. That’s how it is,” Klopp analyzed.

“They are more than just set-pieces. They are compact. They are well coached and the atmosphere the stadium creates is really good. We have to be at our best to win at Brentford. It’s a smart coached team.” Klopp concluded.
