King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques offered his condolences to Mali’s Transitional President, Bah Ndaw, after a terrorist attack in Tessit.
King Salman sent a cable of condolences to the families of the victims and the Malian people.
He reiterated his condemnation of terrorism, and the fact that Saudi Arabia stands in support of Mali against such attacks.
A similar cable was also sent to the Malian President by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Reports say both men, King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed separately sent cables to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan to inquire about his health after it was disclosed that he contracted the coronavirus.
