England defender Kyle Walker has agreed to a two-year contract with newly-promoted Premier League club Burnley for an estimated transfer fee of £5 million ($6.8 million) to Manchester City.
The 35-year-old England international has accumulated 410 appearances in the Premier League and has claimed the title six times with City, in addition to winning the Champions League.
He spent the latter half of the 2024/25 season on loan at AC Milan in Serie A, who chose not to activate their option to purchase him.
“I’m delighted to be here,” the right-back said in a Burnley statement on Saturday.
“When I spoke to (manager) Scott Parker and heard about his plans for next season, it was an opportunity I jumped at.
“He’s done an amazing job here, guiding the club back to the Premier League with a 100-point haul, and now we’re looking forward, together, at being back in the greatest league in the world.”

Walker’s agreement with City, a club he joined in 2017, was scheduled to run until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Having earned 96 caps for England, Walker was not included in City’s squad for the Club World Cup, and a transfer was expected.
This transfer brings Walker together with Burnley manager Parker, who was his teammate at Tottenham from 2011 to 2013.
