Marvel Studios through its Twitter account has announced that the fourth Captain America installment would now be called Brave New World. The latest film in the franchise was initially titled ‘New World Order’ when originally announced last year July.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD would follow events of Avengers: Endgame and the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Recall that the last events saw Chris Evans’ character Steve Rogers pass the Captain America shield on to marvel hero, Falcon. Anthony Mackie’s had played the Falcon since Captain America: The Winter Soldier, 2014.
Mackie’s who plays the new captain America is also set to appear in the upcoming Thunderbolts, alongside other existing and new characters from Black Widow, Ant-Man and the Wasp and beyond.
Co written and directed by Malcolm Spellman and Julius Onah respectively, Brave New World will see Mackie’s continue on with Wilson’s journey as Captain America, while 80 year old American actor, Harrison Ford makes his MCU debut as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. Captain America 4 is still slated to be released on May 3, 2024.
