American sensation Miley Cyrus still holds the number one spot on the chart with her breakup hit single ‘Flowers’. With scornful lyrics like ‘I can buy myself flowers, I can hold my own hands’, the 2023 hit songs tops the charts for the 5th week.
It’s the one-time Disney star’s biggest billboard achievement beating her record for 2013 hit ‘wrecking ball’ which topped for only 3 weeks and ‘We can’t stop’ which only hit the No.2 spot on the global music ranking list. Miley’s hit ‘flowers’ has also become the most-heard hit on U.S. airwaves, marking Cyrus’ first No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart.
It also holds the spot as the fastest flight to the top of the chart in nearly seven years, since Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”
This week, SZA’s “Kill Bill” ranks at its No. 2 Hot 100 best for a sixth week. Sam smith’s ‘Unholy’ holds the No. 4 spot and Taylor Swift’s ‘Anti-Hero’ is at No. 7. Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ is the only African record on the Hot 100, and it occupies the No.27 spot after a total of 23 weeks on the charts, seating ahead of Future’s ‘Wait For U’ at No. 36, Lizzo’s ‘About Damn time’ and Rihanna’s Wakanda soundtrack ‘Lift Me Up’.
