An attack by the dreaded ADF Militia in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo has left six dead and 24 persons kidnapped.
The attack happened on Saturday in Beni, North Kivu Province of the East African country.
Not less than 24 civilians were abducted in the course of the attack, including a reporter with a local radio station in the region.
The Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) is responsible for the slaughtering of at least 800 civilians in the province which is bordered by Uganda.
ADF has been listed by the ICC as a group committing war crimes against innocent civilians. The group is currently being investigated.
The ADF originated in the 1990s as a rebel group from Uganda and has dealt horror on innocent civilians for decades.

Illegal lumbering, sponsored by some of top officials in DR Congo has been the group’s main source of income.
Other sources have linked the attacks to Islamic State Central Africa Province, although there are no proofs to back the claims.
Africa is currently facing multiple militia cases with migration rampant than ever amid rising insecurity across the continent.
