Mohamed Salah’s agent has responded to reports that the Egypt international wishes to leave Anfield in the summer.
Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas, responded on Twitter to a report that the Liverpool attacker is open to leaving Anfield at the end of the season and moving to La Liga. According to the report, Salah believes Liverpool has reached the end of their cycle and is looking for a fresh challenge in Spain.
Where did you get this from if not even Mohamed and I discussed this? Please tell us,” he quote-tweeted to the journalist of the report.
Abbas dismissed that Mohamed Salah plans to leave for the second time in three weeks. The forward’s agent has called prior speculation “nonsense” after it was reported that Liverpool could be open to offers for the 30-year-old. Salah extended his deal with Liverpool until 2025 last summer.
