Moroccan football authorities have been left miffed by the treatment meted out on them by their Congolese counterparts.
A video making the rounds has Moroccan players and officials arriving Congo ahead of their World Cup qualifiers on Saturday, but they weren’t welcomed by any delegation nor protected from Congolese fans.
The Moroccan FA has also complained about the buses used to transport them to their hotels as the two buses were claimed to have broken down simultaneously.
They said a local security company was hired for their protection and they’ve been made to pay $3,500 per day.
Morocco will face the Democratic Republic of Congo on the 25th of March in a game that will go a long way in deciding who picks the ticket to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
