Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch and his Mauritanian counterpart Mohamed Ould Bilal signed 13 cooperation agreements, Moroccan official news agency MAP reported.
These agreements, signed during the eighth session of Moroccan-Mauritanian High Joint Commission, aim to broaden bilateral cooperation in sectors of agriculture, animal production and health, fisheries and aquaculture, environmental protection and sustainable development, tourism, vocational training and investments, it said.
“Morocco and Mauritania are two neighboring countries, linked by very distinguished relations,” Akhannouch told reporters. For his part, Bilal said the agreements will foster the development of bilateral relations.
