Human Rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 elections, Omoyele Sowore, has alleged that N7.9 billion is currently missing from the coffers of the Ondo State government.
Sowore stated this on Tuesday during an interview on News Central TV’s Breakfast Show.
“Within the period that Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has been gone, N7.9 billion has been gone from Ondo State account.”
The politician also stated that the Department of State Services (DSS) had arrested and assaulted citizens who demanded the resignation of the embattled Ondo State governor.
“DSS Arrested and assaulted people who were protesting and posting pictures that Governor Akeredolu should resign,” Sowore said.
