Despite the ongoing protests, the Naira has gained significantly against the Dollar in the foreign exchange market.
Data from FMDQ showed that the Nigerian currency gained N9.93 by appreciating to N1607.15 against the Dollar on Monday from N1617.08 exchanged last Friday.
The Naira maintained its stability in the parallel market, with the same N1610 per Dollar traded as last week Friday.
On Monday, the FX transaction turnover decreased to $77.09 million from $131.55 million at the end of trading the previous week.
