The Naira plunged deeper on Tuesday after trading at N1,416.57 to 1$ at the official market.
Data from Financial Markets Dealers Quotation (FMDQ) Exchange, the official trading platform that oversees the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) revealed that the Naira lost N62.36 which represents a 4.60% loss compared to Monday when it exchanged at N1,354.21 to a dollar.
The total daily turnover jumped to 160.77 from $84.83 million on Monday.
Finally, at the Investors and Exporters window, the Nigerian currency traded between N1,445 and N1,301 against the dollar.
