Netanyahu Forced into Shelter Following Air Raid Sirens

Air Raid Sirens Reportedly Force Netanyahu into Shelter as Tensions Rise with Hezbollah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has evacuated his residence in Caesarea after air raid sirens sounded, prompting him to seek immediate shelter, as reported by Israel’s Walla news website.

The incident coincided with Hezbollah’s intensified operations in northern occupied Palestine, where the group expanded its fire against Israeli forces. Hezbollah’s actions are framed as a response to Israeli attempts to support Gaza while defending Lebanon and its civilians from what they describe as barbaric attacks by Israel on various locations.

Since the early morning hours, sirens have echoed across several regions, including Margaliot, Misgav Am, Hanita, Haifa, Krayot, Acre, Nahariyya, the Beit She’an Valley, Gesher, and Menahemia. Reports from Israeli media depicted the situation as “madness in the skies of Haifa and Krayot,” following the launch of a rocket salvo from Lebanon.

Further reports indicated that during the Iranian attack on Israel, Netanyahu and several ministers took shelter in a fortified underground location in Jerusalem. Defence Minister Yoav Gallant was also reported to have barricaded himself in a subterranean building belonging to the ministry in Tel Aviv.
