Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has extended heartfelt condolences to the family of 14-year-old Daniel Anjorin following his tragic passing.
Anjorin was fatally attacked while wearing his school uniform in Hainault, East London, during a terrifying incident involving a sword-wielding assailant that left four others injured on Tuesday.
In a statement released by NiDCOM’s Head of Media, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dr. Dabiri-Erewa expressed deep sorrow over the unfortunate and distressing event.
She offered her sincere condolences to the bereaved family and the Nigerian community in the UK, praying for divine comfort and peace for the departed soul of young Daniel Anjorin.
Dr. Dabiri-Erewa assured that stringent measures would be taken to ensure that the perpetrator, currently in police custody, faces appropriate consequences for their actions.
