The Electronics Development Institute (ELDI) is set to introduce four new electrical products into the Nigerian market, as announced by Dr Oluwaseyi Ogungbenro, the overseeing officer of ELDI in Anambra State. This disclosure came during a tour led by top management of the institute in Awka, Southeast Nigeria.
Ogungbenro highlighted that the products include the ELDI bulb, ELDI Ceiling Light, ELDI Solar Lighting System, and ELDI Solar Generator. These products, he assured, have undergone rigorous research and certification processes to ensure they meet market standards. He expressed ELDI’s readiness to collaborate with the press to promote these innovations, including awareness campaigns and roadshows.
In response, Mrs Joy Mbachi, a State Correspondent in Awka, appreciated Ogungbenro for the institute’s commitment to engaging with the media. She noted the crucial role of the media in disseminating information about governmental and societal developments, expressing openness to collaborate with ELDI on these initiatives.
The initiative is believed to be a significant step towards advancing local technological innovations and enhancing access to sustainable electrical solutions in Nigeria.
