Nigerian Ministry Initiates Review of National Housing Programme House Sales

The Ministry of Works and Housing in Nigeria has commenced the process of reviewing house sales under the National Housing Programme, as revealed in a statement posted on its official communication platform.

The Ministry stated that the review is a crucial step in the new sales programme for houses, and prospective buyers are encouraged to obtain Expression of Interest Forms. It was specified that individuals who were previously granted provisional offers of allocation between 2022 and 2023 are welcome to reapply during this phase.

“Interested subscribers who were offered a provisional offer of allocation that elapsed between March 10, 2022, and October 18, 2023, are free to reapply by completing the Expression of Interest Form.”

The Ministry urged interested subscribers to collect the Expression of Interest Forms from the offices of the Federal Controllers of Housing and Urban Development in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory at no cost.

For Nigerians residing abroad, the Ministry mentioned that they can obtain the forms from the office of the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).
