Kennedy Iyere has emerged as the Accord party‘s candidate for the Edo State governorship election.
A day before the primary election, five other candidates dropped out to make way for him as the party’s ticket bearer.
Iyere was then invested as the man to lead the Accord party in the September 2024 election.
After selecting the ticket, Iyere claims that his comrades stepped down for him only on merit. He intends to win the governorship election.
