Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, North-Central Nigeria, has called upon stakeholders of the state’s All Progressives Congress (APC) to consolidate their unity efforts and bolster the party’s strength.
Sule made this assertion during a stakeholders meeting held in Lafia, aimed at strategising to secure future electoral victories for the party in the state.
Addressing the gathering, the governor emphasised the importance of patience among party members regarding political appointments and other matters, assuring those yet to receive appointments of better prospects in the future.
Highlighting his administration’s achievements in various sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and pension disbursements, Governor Sule pledged to continue implementing policies and programmes aimed at directly improving the lives of the state’s residents.
In his remarks, Mr. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, lauded the party’s leadership for convening the meeting, stressing the need for discipline within the APC to ensure its progress.
Jatau urged stakeholders to disseminate information about Governor Sule’s accomplishments to attract more residents to the state, commending the governor’s developmental efforts throughout Nasarawa.
He assured the governor of the 7th Assembly’s unwavering support under his leadership, pledging commitment to the state’s progress and development.
Professor Abdulkarim Kana, the National Legal Adviser of the APC, expressed gratitude to the stakeholders for their continuous support for the party. He urged them to maintain unity to secure future electoral victories in the state and across the country.
Describing Governor Sule as one of the state’s exemplary leaders, the legal adviser affirmed the need for continued collaboration and solidarity among APC members to achieve success in upcoming elections.
