Nigeria: President Buhari Returns to Abuja After World Bio Summit In South Korea (News Central TV)

Muhammadu Buhari, the president of Nigeria, has returned to Abuja following a six-day journey to Seoul, South Korea, for the World Bio Summit 2022.

At around six in the morning, his plane landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, where he was met by a few senior government officials and security leaders.

The governors of the states of Katsina and Niger, Aminu Masari and Abubakar Sani Bello, respectively, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Bello, and the president’s chief of staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, were all seen at the airport as the president arrived.

Usman Alkali Baba, the Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi, and a few other high military and security officials were also present.

Governors Masari and Bello, as well as ministers Geoffrey Onyeama, Osagie Ehanire, Adeniyi Adebayo, and Timipre Sylva, traveled to the Asian nation with President Buhari.

Others on the delegation were Maj-Gen. Mohammed Babagana Monguno (Rtd), National Security Adviser; Amb. Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, Director-General, National Intelligence Agency; Prof. Moji Adeyeye, Director-General, NAFDAC; Dr Ifedayo Adetifa, Director-General, NCDC; Bashir Jamoh, Director-General, NIMASA; Hon. Abike Dabiri-Orewa, Chairman, NiDCOM as well as other top government officials.

The World Bio Summit brought leaders of the vaccine and bio industries together to review key innovations and lessons gained during the COVID-19 pandemic, charting new ways to accelerate research and development to strengthen global health security.
