Police in Ogii, Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State, have arrested and paraded three young men found with a human skull.
The suspects, Patrick Okoere (29), Ifeanyichukwu Anyaemeka (28), and Chukwuemeka Onyekachi (20), were apprehended after a tip-off from the Ogii community. The identity of the deceased remains unknown.
Police spokesperson DSP Henry Okoye stated that Okoere claimed his uncle, Osunta Oko, had requested the skull for a land dispute ritual. Authorities are now searching for Osunta and conducting a DNA analysis to identify the remains.
The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
