The federation’s governors and President Bola Tinubu are meeting at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FTC), and Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun are also present at the roughly 11:30 a.m. start of the meeting.
The gathering bears some relevance to the nationwide worries expressed regarding the escalating prices of food products, joblessness, and other financial matters.
Vice President Shettima will chair the monthly National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, which will take place after this one.
