#NigeriaDecides2023: APC’s Tinubu Edges Atiku, Others in Ogun (News Central TV)

In Ogun State, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, defeated candidates from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and other political parties to win the polls.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar received 123,831 votes, while APC candidate Bola Tinubu received 341,554 votes.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), who received 85,829 votes, Dumebi Kachikwu of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), who received 10,529 votes, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), who received 2,200 votes, respectively, took third, fourth, and fifth position.

There were 2,687,606 registered voters in the state, and there were 612,341 accredited voters overall. The total number of votes cast was 611,448, comprising 580,124 valid votes and 31,324 rejected votes.
