Nigerian Singer-Songwriter Asake has dropped his debut album titled ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’.
The collection was released in the early hours of September 8, 2022 and charted in several countries including the US and UK. The album has also debuted at No.1 on Apple Music chart in Nigeria.
‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’ features Grammy winner Burna Boy and American rapper Russ.
The 12-track project includes previously released songs Sungba remix, Peace Be Unto You and Terminator.
Asake is a graduate of Theater & Performing Arts from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state, Nigeria.
He got into the mainstream when he released his 2020 freestyle ‘Mr Money’. The 27-year-old was signed by YBNL in February 2022 and sealed a deal with Empire Distribution in July 2022.
He has since produced hit tunes, usually a blend of Afrobeats and Amapiano.
